An Amazing Wheat Thresher

When you look at my title you might think, "What is so amazing about a wheat thresher?" The amazing thing about this wheat thresher is it is a WEAPON IN DISGUISE. This weapon is called the nunchuck. The reason it was used as a weapon was because farmers in Southeast Asia were not allowed to carry normal weapons so they used the nunchuck to defend themselves.

Last week, our marial arts instructor brought some nunchucks to class. We got to practice one move with them. He let me borrow them until next class after Christmas break! So far, I have been having an awesome time!

This is me practicing the move.

Hi-Ya!

  2. Hello Connor,

That is neat the your instructor let you practice with the nunchuck over the break. Do you have class once a week? Uncle David and I wish you a very happy Christmas!

  3. Oh, Connor! I can just hear you saying "Hi-ya!" :) Looks like you have to be pretty well coordinated to use those nunchucks. The history about the wheat threshers was an interesting tidbit of information. Are you kidding me? (I can just hear you saying that, too.) :)

    Love, Grandma
