God is with us!

Last Monday there was a big wind storm during the night. A tree fell over and caused the power to go out. Late that night Mom and Dad were up with a friend of ours trying to get the heat back on with the generator. Meanwhile, a guy from GVEA (electric company) was outside in the wind, fixing the power line. The treee that hit the power line was about ten feet from the house and could have easily crushed it. Five other trees fell down that day, too. God protected us from all the dangers that night.

  1. My goodness, that was quite a storm. The pictures are amazing. It is obvious that God's hand was there keeping you and your home safe. An interesting thing is that I have always kind of liked storms - but not the ones that damage our property and where people get hurt. A nice thunderstorm always made me feel cozy. When one came I liked to bake or read while the storm blew outside!! I love you, GramE(heart)

  2. Thank you for reporting on the windstorm, Connor. I'm thinking it's kind of scary to have the power go out when the temperature is 30 below. Your dad told me last night that you and Samantha are having a lot of fun riding your snow saucers down the berm. (Is saucer the right word? Anyway... sounds like fun.

    Love, Grandma
