baking and making

For Christmas, one of my presents was a fudge recipe from Grandma and Grandpa. It was finally put to use on February 13th, and IT WAS GOOD!I pretty much made it all by myself. The process included some pouring, some stirring, more stirring, and more pouring.

The more exciting thing that we did this week is that we dug a fort/tunnel into the huge snow hill that Mr. Chesley snow blowed.

The funny thing is that we did it from 8:00 to 10:00 at night! It was really fun. I think it's going to turn out great.

  1. Connor,

I bet your family was happy you tried out that new fudge recipe! Yum!

The snow fort looks pretty neat. Or "cool"-heehee.

  2. I'm glad the fudge turned out. I was pretty sure it would taste good even if it was "spoon candy". :) When I was a little girl, that's what we called it when the fudge didn't turn out nice 'n firm like it was supposed to be. And the snow fort looks like so much FUN. Quite a family project!

  3. You seem to be doing so many fun and interesting things this winter! Wish I could taste the fudge....yum!

I remember making fort/castles from huge snow piles that would get plowed in our driveway when I was a little girl. I don't know that we ever had a
cave quite like yours, though. How fun that both Mom and Dad helped on that project.

Don't turn into a snowman, ok? Love, GramE(heart)
